Here you are right in the middle of the Swabian inn culture. The boss greets her guests even before she starts cooking in the kitchen. The offer is also sufficient and the grilled meat is simply great.

I went here on Saturday night. I had emailed them before I started traveling, then I got to know they were very friendly and kind. The staff were actually very kind and gave hospitality to us. The madam understood my poor English with smile. We were lucky to come here on goose day, when they served special goose dishes. The dishes they served were really delicious, and they were gracious to have us take out the dishes we couldn’t clean up. If I lived in Stuttgart, I would come here every weekend. Best recommend!!

A nice, small restaurant with a very friendly service or hostess. The food was very good, the Schwabenteller gives a good overview of the local specialties. The plate is very powerful, I would have liked to try a soup as a starter and a dessert. Maybe next time. 😉

The "Vierteleschlotzer" is a very small restaurant, slightly away from the center. As the name suggests, this is specialized in Swabian cuisine. You can eat inside or outside. The service was very friendly, the food homemade.

Were in the end of May in this rustic eatery, I liked the food so much that I have returned several times there for dinner. Homemade local cuisine was a discovery for me with the Maultaschen and Spätzle. The shady courtyard offers a nice local wine or beer. Thumbs up clear recommendations !!!

I confess I am not a connoisseur of German cuisine but I know great service, delicious food and a good ambiance when it presents itself. My wife and I had a wonderful time in this cozy, friendly restaurant that felt more like being a guest at someone’s home hosted by good and kind friends. Did I say the food was delicious?

Wow! Great tasty local cuisine. Be sure to try the Flädle soup. The prices for the wines and the food are very cheap. The waitress and the owner are very friendly. At our next visit to Stuttgart we will definitely be back.
